Language is hard.
We’ve spent
thirty years
making machines
respect that.

LocalVersion.io builds custom AI translation systems for companies that care about the difference between accurate and merely fluent.

Fine-tuned LLMs, RAG pipelines, QA automation. Engineered by linguists who code, shipped in weeks, not quarters.

How we ship →
We have linguists who code and engineers who translate. When you ask us for something, you are talking to the people who will build it.

We started in the 1990s localizing software for Apple. We have been working together on the same problem ever since.

LocalVersion was founded in 2003 by Toni Rovira and Eduard Simón. 50+ core team members. 150+ native experts in 45 countries. Eduard teaches computational linguistics at the UAB. Toni has coordinated localization for some of the most demanding software companies in the world. We read papers. We teach at universities. We argue about whether a model can be said to understand anything.
